Newell’s 2 – 1 Huracan, and other stuff

Newell’s wins their third friendly, this time by actually scoring their own goals. Both goals came courtesy of Leandro Armani, who is looking strong this preseason. It was another 40 minute or so game, but the next two in Chile, starting tomorrow, are slated to be full time.

More like a scrimmage, really, it only lasted 50 minutes this morning. I didn’t see it and I can’t find any clips. I doubt it had any kind of broadcast.

Looks like there might be some action on the Fabianni to River front, even after Newell’s paid him what Lope$ had not. Seems like we still own 50% of Salcedo, and River has the other half. So the talk now is to swap the two, plus something like $500,000 in cash to NOB. [...]
