A Closer Look at the Tigre Game

Watching the game over the internet without virtue of replay, the first goal seemed like he couldn’t do anything else. Wrong. Great play, and that run he had in the second goal beating 4 players to set up the score for Vangioni ? Brilliant. Video after the jump (courtesy of apurogol.com).

Amen to that. Fabbiani’s dribbling into the area to set up the second goal in ways reminded me of some of the footage I’ve seen of Garrincha… if you don’t know who he is, blame Pele, and, well, do yourself a favor and look him up.
