A lot has happened while I was moving.

Ok, big news. No to the River Plate offer for Fabianni. Again. That means that Santiago Salcedo won’t be leaving Nunez to return to Rosario.

Velez is said to be sending over an offer for el Ogro with some striker that I can’t remember as part of the deal.

The biggest news. About 30 or so members of the old barra brava broke into the stadium, trashed the place up a bit and then went out to the grill and picnic area and started shooting a bit. The police arrested 21 people (unfortunately Pimpi Caminos was one of them). They are searching for him and his two brothers, as he does stand accused of being the ring leader of the attack Club president Guillermo Lorente is pissed, to say the least. He is furious with the police and the government for this happening. It doesn’t make me feel any better that judge Alejandra Rodenas is the one assigned to this. To date she has done absolutely nothing on the other cases assigned to her concerning Lopez and the barra, so I’m not expecting much from her.

Newell’s beat Colo Colo in Chile to wrap up a perfect preseason. The club returns to Rosario to continue preparations for the season.

Biggest problem with unloading El Ogro seems to be that everyone wants to send Newell’s another player, but what we need is cash.

I’ve solved the money problem at Newell’s. Sell raffle tickets. The winner gets to take a stick to Lope$.
