Cristaldo arrives at last, maybe for good

By: Jeremy | July 26th, 2008

Ernesto ‘Teto’ Cristaldo is in Rosario, and he brought a friend, Walter Fretes, another midfielder. Their dad, Cerro Porteno president Luis Pettingil, came along to supervise.

Cristaldo plays on the left and Fretes on the right. Fretes is also the dead ball specialist for Cerro and spent time in Mexico with Jaguares. Here’s a little goal he scored (although not a dead ball). Nice ball movement from the Cerro side. I think this was against Olimpia.

There was a meeting Friday between la lepra and Huracan, dealing with Hugo Barrientos‘ potential move to Newell’s. No word yet on the outcome.
