By: Jeremy | March 13th, 2008Looks like Caruso is going to stick to the three man back line and let Schiavi continue to roam farther up. It worked against Velez. Their only goal was from that absolute phantasm of a penalty.
On a slightly lighter note, not content with his team’s win at futbol-tenis in practice Tuesday, yesterday el Flaco Schiavi challenged Justo Villar to block a free kick. Things didn’t go so well for Schiavi. As a matter of fact they went fairly wrong. Apparently he missed the goal by about 15 feet or so. Ouch. The wager – a case of alfajores marplatenses. Alfajores are traditional Argentine (and other South American nations) cookies and I believe there is a generous amount of dulce de leche in them, but I have never actually had one, so I don’t know. This particular variation of the cookie comes from the Mar del Plata region of the country. Congratulations Justo, and enjoy.
In case you were wondering, alfajores marplatenses.
