Gaston Machin is Leproso!
By: Jeremy | July 25th, 2008Wow. That signing came out of nowhere. Independiente’s talented 25 year old Gaston Machin midfielder will be taking Nico Cabrera’s place in the lineup. I’ve read reports that the cost was 1.5 million dollars and it was an outright purchase. Other reports say it is a year long loan with a 700K purchase option. He broke into the primera with Argentinos in 2002 and lasted with them until 2005 before moving on to Indpendiente. I managed to dig up this little gem he scored against Belgrano.
A couple of more transfer items.
Marcos Pirrchio, striker, Estudiantes, could be signing for a year long loan in the next few days.
Ernesto Cristaldo, supposedly coming this week to sign his contract.
Samuel Eto’o was allegedly seen in Rosario driving near the house of one Senor Eduardo Lopez. Hey, Argentina is a hell of a lot better place to play than Uzbekistan.
