By: Jeremy | June 10th, 2008Caruso wants to stay. He needs some assurances. Maybe he wants to know what players he can sign and the direction that the rat fink Lopez sees the club heading in. Give them to him Eduardo. You can’t postpone elections indefinitely (although I am sure you will try). The barra brava like you, at least the leaders, because being your boys means money for them. You’ll get some votes. Keep Caruso around and have another good season. Maybe you’ll get some more votes. Who knows, maybe come January you will have been legally voted in for another four years (God forbid) because you brought back Caruso and spent the new Garay transfer cash on some better players and won a title.
Or maybe not. Come January, we’ll probably be wondering how you managed to dodge another election, the Garay money will be in your pockets, and we’ll be looking for another new coach to save us from relegation.
As far as I am concerned, one more day is too many for Eduardo Lopez and company. If he screws around and loses Caruso, unless he steals the Special One away from Inter, or someone of the same calibre, then he deserves to be arrested. I could go on and on, but I won’t, so that I can get some sleep.
