And like I have been saying all along, Ferreyra played superbly, bagging a brace after coming on in the 36th (or 39th) minute in place of Salcedo, who was injured. A big ‘I told you so’ to Caruso and the NOB powers that be.
On the other hand, before I sprain my arm patting myself on the back, the guy I have been wanting him to replace came up aces. Da Silva scored two and set up Ferreyra’s first. Not a bad night.
I’ll try and get the goals up tomorrow, since I can’t find them right now.
Best of all we are in fifth place this season and and now lead Racing (thanks to their draw) by two points on the promedios with six teams below us. Yahoo!!
