Please, No!!
By: Jeremy | April 16th, 2009I just read where Sensini is toying with the idea of playing Alejandro Da Silva opposite Leandro Armani.
Let me count the ways that would be so wrong.
- He’s coming back from a career threatening injury just seven months ago
- The team actually played fairly well without him on Friday
- He kind of stinks, sorry. Remember last season before he was injured?
- He’s on the way out the door, why rob time from the future?
- He kind of stinks. Maybe Central could use him next season in the B?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad the guy is healthy again, but the facts are that he wasn’t getting the job done before he got hurt, what makes Sensini think he would be any better now?
He’s surplus to requirements, so to speak. We’ve got Sasa for leadership and proven big game goals. We’ve got Armani and Steinert and Sperdutti, and Formica, and we have a stud down in the reserves by the name of Falcone who should be making his way up full time any day now.
So don’t go making any bad changes and mortgage the future for today. Haven’t we learned anything from Lope$.
