Well that sucked butt.

Four friggin’ games and one point. And this was Olimpo. Olimpo. My two year old son’s non-existent pee wee soccer team could at least draw with Olimpo. No one one played well. Period. It’s hard to single out one player when it was a collective turd they just dropped in front of the home crowd. And to top it of, Bernardello and Gaitan got red cards. Thanks for not showing up in this game and oh yeah, how about not showing for a few more? Punks.

I know there is a lot going on with the club off the field. Lopez is perhaps feeling his thirteen year strangle hold on power starting to slip away, as it looks like elections will finally be held at the end of this year, but he is trying his damnedest to hang on, by any means possible. He went so far as to bar members from attending an annual assembly that is going elect the board that will supervise the election in December.

He tried to give parts of the grounds outside el Coloso to the city in exchange for forgiving the club’s debt to the city. A debt that shouldn’t be and could have been paid for with all the transfer money NOB has gotten lately. Oh wait, then Lopez wouldn’t have been able to put it in his own pocket.

Plus no one seems to like the poor physical trainer. Schiavi walked out of practice a few weeks ago over some exercise that Schiavi felt was not done properly. And the players have been dropping like flies. Who knows?

This is just the stuff I see from thousands of miles away. I know it has to be worse on the ground there. But none of that is an excuse for LOSING TO @$*!@#% OLIMPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m too bitter to write more now. I’ll try and have a cohesive where are we now post tomorrow or the next day, after I get past the debacle.
