Why Friday?
By: Jeremy | March 17th, 2009Ok, so you play a Sunday match, and then the AFA mob rewards you with a Friday tie the next week. Think people, think. I know there are mid-week ties with Wed/Sat dates, but those are necessary given the international calendar. The Sun/Fri dates are not.
I won’t talk about the disaster that was the match. Coach Sensinsi says that type of game won’t happen again. The players say that type of game won’t happen again. Well, Lucas Bernardi says they just had a bad game and it isn’t the end of the world. Very true, and another sign that he is providing maturity and leadership to the squad (and to me).
Check out the highlights. Thank you Senor Vangioni. Two goals, one with each foot. The first was a bomb from the edge of the box that he took off a bounce. The second one was just a turn and shoot. Not that I watched it, but the second goal by Huracan was pretty, and highlighted a complete breakdown of the NOB back line.

Yes the match was a disaster, very true, but before we used to lose these games. At least the team went forward all the time. I hope won’t repeat this kind of games. Vangioni score all goal that never did,I wish he keep doing like that.
I’ll miss this next game, you right why friday? why not boca or river, damn it afa!

True, we would have lost that game not too long ago, but it is still frustrating. There is lots of talent on the team. Friday means I’ll probably miss it, too. Stinkin’ AFA.
